Add-on feature: RFID-based venue information system
For a "high-tech" conference administration from on-site registration to the evening reception
During the registration process, all conference related data of the participant is being saved on an RFID-chip, integrated into the nametag. This way the conference visit is being simplified for the conferee and waiting times are reduced tremendously. The RFID-based system offers functions such as:
- Automated storage of conferee registration status on the RFID-chip and submission of information to the conference management software Converia
- Automated tracking of venue capacities and display on screens (i.e. TV's)
- Cloakroom administration without tickets: registration and storage of cloaknumber on the RFID-chip
- Storage of booked participants for the evening reception and automated access control
- Personalized, electronic guideposts throughout the conference venue
